Private Instruction Program (PIP)
Our Private Instruction Program began after students told us that they wanted extra time to study with a teacher outside of the regular classroom time. This program allows you to select your favorite teacher and schedule a personalized 60-minute lesson.
The Private Instruction Program can be combined with any Intrax program and schedule:
Programs: English Language, TOEFL & TOEIC, Business Programs or Internship. Schedules: Standard, Intensive, Super Intensive.
How does it work?
When you sign up for this program you buy a Private Instruction Program (PIP) Card. This card allows you to choose private lessons (just you), semi-private lessons (you and a friend) or small group lessons (you and two friends).
This card has 12 punch holes and you can use it for any combination of lessons until the 12 punches are gone. The number of punches depends on the number of students in the lesson:

How much does it cost?
The PIP Card costs $200 (US or CN). Normally, private lessons cost $60 or more per hour. With the Intrax PIP Card, you save up to $40 on private, semi-private and small group lessons!
Do I have to buy the PIP Card before I arrive at my Intrax Center?
No, you can buy the PIP Card from a Student Advisor at the Front Desk.
Where can I take the Private Instruction Program?
The Private Instruction Program is offered at all of our Intrax centers in San Francisco, San Diego and Chicago.
