TOEFL Success

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is an international exam used to evaluate your grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening and verbal communication skills. It is a very important exam for you if you wish to enroll in a college or university. We know that we can help you to succeed with our TOEFL Success program!



Curriculum

Our TOEFL Success program introduces you to strategies needed to succeed on this test. You will practice the four main components of the test which are: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. Other elements of this program include pre-writing practice, integrated tasks, test strategies and weekly practice tests. When you prepare for the TOEFL test with Intrax' TOEFL Success program, you are guaranteed a maximum of only 12 students per teacher in your class!

Academic Listening

Listening for the main idea and important details, recognizing a speaker's purpose, making inferences and drawing conclusions from the material presented, recognizing topic changes and conclusions

Academic Reading

Scanning text for key facts, increasing reading fluency and rate, understanding main idea and main points in a reading, understanding relationships between ideas

Independent and Integrated Speaking

Speaking about personal preferences and choices, summarizing an academic lecture, discussing a problem and solution, talking about opinions with confidence

Independent and Integrated Writing

Writing a summary of a listening passage, writing an essay supporting one's opinion, practicing paragraph and essay structure, building vocabulary for academic writing

The right schedule for you

Choose from three flexible schedules:

  • Standard Schedule (20 lessons per week, Monday through Thursday) view schedule
  • Intensive Schedule (28 lessons per week, Monday through Thursday) view schedule
  • Super Intensive Schedule (35 lessons per week, Monday through Friday) view schedule

Do I need a minimum level to take the TOEFL Success program?

Yes, you need to have at least a minimum English level of High Intermediate (level 6). Your initial level will be determined by a placement test the day you arrive. If you do not reach the High Intermediate level you can take our English Success program to improve your English level.
