"The reason why I decided to come to America to study English is because in Brazil I study Law, with a major in International Contracts, therefore, English is crucial in my career. Also, English today, is the most important language in the world and any successful person should speak it!
"When I came to USA, I barely spoke English and was in trouble of understanding other people. But since I came to Intrax, where apart from having classes I communicate in English with my classmates during the breaks or after school, my English had a significant improvement. I also recommend Chicago because it is beautiful, the nature, especially the lake, is amazing."

"At Intrax, I'm taking English at the High Intermediate level. First half of the day, I study grammar, listening, and speaking. For my afternoon class I have decided to take the Business Essentials Class. Most lessons are great. I have fun with them. We learn about many interesting topics like economics systems, marketing, advertising, which is all necessary for my work. In my country, I work in the risk department in the bank and will be a senior risk manager soon!
"I decided to come to San Diego to study English because San Diego is close to Bryce Canyon, Zion Canyon, and there are nice beaches and the weather is good. My stay in San Diego is only 4 weeks, so I try to visit some nice places in Downtown everyday after school. For example, Balboa Park is a great place for preparing your homework and learning. For sightseeing, I also visited Harbour, Balboa Park, and the Cabrillo Monument.

"Because my sister is going to Academy of Art University in San Francisco, I came here with her. Also, I can meet many people who have different cultures and make friends who come from other countries. I like San Francisco because there are many things to do, one of the good points is a convenient transportation. I can go anywhere by MUNI, BART and Cable Car. My favorite restaurant is the Cheesecake Factory, because it is famous, and the food is good. I went to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge, and it was very windy!
"The greatest thing happened in San Francisco is that I met nice people! I like my teacher Peter, I like his teaching method because it is very creative. There are many different ages and nationalities in my class and most students study hard."

"I am studying English because it is necessary for my later career and it will allow me the flexibility to work in a foreign country. I also like the English language. At Intrax, I feel very happy. I made friends with my classmates, they are nice and personable people. I like my classes, they are really interesting. I found the Idioms Focus Class the most useful because idioms in English are everywhere. My favorite Intrax activities were watching a Vancouver Giants hockey game and participating in the soccer tournament and soccer club. After school I usually study English and do my homework. I also like to go out with my friends. We joined a few house parties with Canadians, they spoke really fast, but it was good practice."

"My friend recommended Intrax in Chicago (my friend's friend studied here) and I am glad I made this choice because I like it here. My goal is to get a better job and I hope that my English will help. I do homework and practice conversation, watch American movies to help achieve my English goal. I went to Chicago's downtown, Millennium and Grant Parks, I loved the Halloween display at the Navy Pier. The city is very different from my hometown but I like I can experience something different.
"My advice for the future students is to study at Intrax Chicago. It's a good culture to study in. It's diverse, casual, and fun."

"My home country, Switzerland, is different from the United States in practically every way! Everything is different; including the style of people, business culture and way of life. I learned this first hand at my internship in the Software Engineering Department. I really enjoyed my internships because they helped me reach my goal of having IT business experience. In addition I improved my English and made a great American friend named Eriko. She took me site seeing and showed me around San Francisco. Sightseeing is one of the most exciting things to do in San Francisco. Every weekend I went sightseeing. I love the view of San Francisco from Treasure Island and Twin Peaks! To tell you the truth everything about San Francisco is exciting. Going to parties, making friends, interning in an American business, seeing movies, visiting nearby cities like Oakland and just hanging out is so much fun. I did all of these things with my best friend Diego from Ecuador.
"I came to San Francisco to experience independent living with a foreign language, make friends, and to become comfortable with this city and speaking English because I want to attend University in San Francisco. Jeanette was my favorite teacher because she was patient, knowledgeable and not only did I learn English but I learned about interesting topics as well. I feel like I have reached my goals and I feel very at home in San Francisco!"

"San Diego is a good place. It's nice and sunny most of the time. Before coming to San Diego, I did a lot of research on the Internet, and found out that many people say San Diego is most beautiful city in USA, so I decided to come here to study English. Also there are a lot of international students here, so I can meet somebody from other countries."

Intrax Program: 4 week PCBM + Internship
"There are moments in your life that you will never forget, moments that make you grow as a person in every way, moments of learning and achievements. When I think about these moments, there's one thing that pops up to my mind: My internship experience with Intrax.
I'm from México and I wanted to improve my Business English for my career, I did a lot of deep research and I decided to go to Chicago and start my adventure with Intrax. I started at the PCBM course with one module for a month. I developed my English skills in topics such as marketing, management, business strategies, culture, etc.
After that I was ready to start my main goal: An internship at an American company. I was expecting to learn about the American business culture, to practice my English, to learn public relations and to earn more security on myself as a professional.
I was guided through all the process of the internship with a one month preparation course to have more confidence in the interviews, tools to answer the interviewer questions, how to dress, to elaborate my cover letter and my resume and finally Intrax make the contact with this company, I went to the interview and I got the job!
During my internship I was in constant communication with Intrax, I had meetings, assignments and a final presentation about my experience and I was given a certificate for completing my internship.
What I loved the most about this experience is that it didn't feel as a simple job, I was there learning and working as much as any other person in the company, I was treated as an employee not just as an intern, I was in direct contact with the owner of the business. I worked in projects for Macy's, Advocate and Harry's Bank to name a few and I never learned as much as I did with my internship.
Also I made friends, including my boss and people who helped to me with the internship process at Intrax. This is a once in a life time experience and I recommend to everyone to live it and learn from it. Any expectations that you may have I can assure to you that they will be exceeded in every way."
